Private Chauffeur Hire in Paris: Planning Your Day
Start with the actual shape of the day
Private chauffeur hire may be considered when a day involves several stages rather than a single journey. It can fit a business programme, an event or a tourism day in Paris. To prepare an enquiry, list the date, collection point, stops, requested timings, final address and useful contacts. This overview allows an arrangement to be considered around your programme, without assuming a journey time, traffic conditions or access that has not been confirmed.
With Black Cab Limousine, chauffeur hire has a 3-hour minimum. The hourly rates are €100 per hour for E-Class, €120 per hour for V-Class and €160 per hour for S-Class. For a longer day, the daily package is 12 hours with 600 km included, in E-Class, V-Class or S-Class. Before selecting a duration, consider the first collection, final appointment, time on site and any known changes. The chauffeur hire page gives the service framework.
Adapt the itinerary to business, event or tourism use
For a business day, collect the full addresses of offices, hotels, restaurants and meeting venues. Add a requested arrival time and indicative duration to each stage. Separate appointments that cannot move from flexible slots. Flag a break, important call or local contact. If an assistant, colleague or host coordinates arrival, provide their number and say who should be contacted on the day. The aim is to make the order of travel clear without presenting an indicative timing as a promise of punctual arrival.
For an event, the invitation and organiser’s instructions remain the reference. Provide the exact address, requested arrival time, entrance name and drop-off point when supplied. A chauffeur does not replace an invitation or permission to enter. A closed street, pedestrian area, screening operation or directions from on-site staff may change where drop-off is possible. Allow a margin consistent with the information received, without treating an arrival time as a guarantee of access.
For a tourism day, begin with priorities. A hotel, district, visit, lunch and return can be linked in one programme when you state the intended order. Separate fixed times — a booking, closing time or appointment — from flexible periods. This helps estimate a coherent duration. It does not remove traffic conditions, access rules or programme adjustments, but avoids treating each stop as an independent transfer.
Make a multi-stop itinerary workable
Set out the route in its actual order: collection address, every stop, approximate time, planned time on site and final destination. Add details needed to identify an entrance: hotel lobby, main door, street, floor, company name or local contact. An address alone may not be enough when a building has several access points. Also state whether a stage must be kept to time or may change.
Explain what is expected between stops. Should the vehicle remain connected to your programme during a meeting, or is the next stage a new collection? This helps define the chauffeur-hire request and consider duration. If the visit order could change, state alternatives in the first enquiry. They are easier to review than a last-minute amendment.
Avoid directions such as “near the entrance” or “after lunch.” Choose an identifiable meeting point and time window. When leaving a busy venue, agree a return landmark before getting out of the vehicle. Keep your phone charged and reachable. A revised address, extended meeting, added bag or additional passenger should be communicated as soon as possible.
Choose the vehicle and flag practical needs
The choice between E-Class, V-Class and S-Class depends on passenger numbers, luggage and programme. An E-Class can be considered for one person or a small party with limited luggage. A V-Class may be considered if several suitcases, work equipment or personal belongings must be carried. An S-Class is another vehicle option. The appropriate vehicle needs confirmation from the details supplied; do not assume one model suits every configuration.
State passenger numbers at every point, not only at collection. A client or colleague may join after a stop, or a suitcase may be collected before the final journey. Describe the number, format and approximate volume of bags, garment carriers, strollers or equipment. This allows loading capacity to be reviewed before confirmation.
Mention reduced mobility, a walking aid, folding wheelchair, stroller or assistance needed to enter the vehicle. Where possible, give folded equipment dimensions and the number of accompanying guests. Also check each venue’s access conditions with its organiser or manager. A vehicle should not be described as suitable for a particular situation without prior review.
Set duration and request a quote
To compare the 3-hour minimum with the 12-hour package including 600 km, count the whole day: collection, sequence of stops, time on site, return and planned changes. Driving time alone is not enough. Before departure, agree an exact address, time, meeting point and reachable contact. At a hotel, the lobby or main entrance can be a landmark; at a public place, choose a permitted and identifiable point. Drop-off and collection must comply with traffic rules, site instructions and conditions on the day. Do not assume parking, access directly outside a door or an exact journey time.
To prepare your day, provide the date, multi-stop itinerary, requested timings, passenger count, luggage, preferred vehicle and any accessibility constraints through our quote form. Black Cab Limousine will review the request; availability, vehicle and arrangements remain subject to confirmation.
